The Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF) is the National Library of France, located in Paris. It is intended to be the repository of all that is published in France.
Like any major national library, it contains a "private case", a secret library which contains literature and illustrations which are considered to be offensive to the general public. In the case of the Bibliothèque nationale de France, it is called "L'enfer", which translates as hell.
