Some people may consider the term "Francophobia" a misnomer as "phobia" comes from the latin for "fear" while the term is used to refer to what would properly be called misogallism (from the greek "miso-" meaning hatred, and the greek "gallic", rather than the latin "franc" which would mean mixing latin and greek).
