Gillo Dorfles (Trieste, April 10 1910) is an Italian art critic and philosopher best known for his 1968 book on kitsch, Il Kitsch: antologia del cattivo gusto.

He was also a painter

In 1948 he founded the MAC (Movimento d'arte concreta, or Concrete Art Movement) together with Monnet, Soldati and Munari.

In 1954 he took part in the Italian section of the ESPACE group together with Munari, Monnini, Reggiani and Veronesi.

Dorfles lives and works in Milan.
