Heads of the Executed (Têtes des suppliciés, 1818) [1] [2] is a painting by French artist Théodore Géricault. It depicts two severed heads on a white cloth. Some art historians that this is not a painting of two heads fresh from the guillotine, but a painted elaboration of an illustration to a book on anatomy (Engravings, explaining the Anatomy of the Bones, Muscles and Joints ) by British surgeon John Bell.

The painting is in the collection of the Nationalmuseum [3], Stockholm.
