Jan Willem Geerinck (born in Sint Niklaas, Belgium, 1965) holds a Master's degree in Dutch, English and Spanish translation and is currently a teacher of Dutch in Antwerp. He is the webmaster of several websites and debuted as a writer in 2011 with De geschiedenis van de erotiek (2011). He has three daughters.
