King Crimson are an influential English musical group founded by guitarist Robert Fripp and drummer Michael Giles in 1969. Their dense musical style has typically been categorised as progressive rock, although it also has influences from jazz, classical, experimental, psychedelic, new wave, heavy metal, Gamelan and folk. Although King Crimson has garnered little radio or music video airplay, they have a devoted following.[1] [May 2007]
