The Satyr And The Goat is a sculpture of Pan copulating with a goat from the Herculaneum, carved from Greek marble in the 1st century B.C. It was one of the first objects excavated when the Herculaneum was discovered. It was considered so offensive that it was not on public display until the year 2000 and remains in the Secret Museum, Naples.
