The Solar Anus (French: L'Anus solaire) is a short Surrealist text written by the French writer and philosopher Georges Bataille. It was written in 1927 and published in 1931.

The world is purely parodic

It is clear that the world is purely parodic, in other words, that each thing seen is the parody of another, or is the same thing in a deceptive form.
