The Young Turks (Template:Lang-tr (plural), from French: Les Jeunes Turcs), inspired by the Young Italy (Giovine Italia), were a coalition of various groups favouring reformation of the administration of the Ottoman Empire. The movement was against the monarchy of Ottoman Sultan and favoured a re-installation of the short-lived Kanûn-ı Esâsî constitution. They established the second constitutional era in 1908 with what would become known as the Young Turk Revolution.
