A Journey Into Stereo Sound is a special effects record released on London Records in 1958. The record showcased stereophonic sound, and is best-known for its "Train Sequence".

The "Train Sequence" is narrated by Geoffrey Sumner and is is known by many by the lines "This is a journey into sound" and "Stereophonic sound". The track is probably best known for being sampled at the start of "Paid in Full (Coldcut Remix)" by Eric B. & Rakim: "This is a journey into sound: a journey which along the way will bring new color, new dimensions, new value."

Another notable sample of "Train Sequence" is by Bomb the Bass on the track "Beat Dis".
