Anton Grigoryevich Rubinstein Template:OldStyleDate - Template:OldStyleDate) was a Russian pianist, composer and conductor who became a pivotal figure in Russian culture when he founded the Saint Petersburg Conservatory. He was the elder brother of Nikolai Rubinstein who founded the Moscow Conservatory.
