Arthouse science fiction (or arthouse sci-fi) is a combination of art and science fiction cinema. Andrei Tarkovsky, Stanley Kubrick, and David Cronenberg are some of the most renowned directors whose contributions to arthouse science fiction cinema have made a lasting impact and have influenced other filmmakers.
