Atalanta Fugiens[1] (1617) is an an alchemical emblem book by Michael Maier, illustrated by Jean Théodore de Bry and Matthäus Merian. It is known for its Nutrix ejus terra est (The Earth is his Nurse) illustration.
Alongside images, poems, and discussion, it includes fifty pieces of music in the form of fugues, the form itself being a pun on Atalanta "fleeing".
