The Behistun Inscription (also Bistun or Bisutun, Modern Persian and Kurdish: بیستون < Old Persian: Bagastana, meaning "the place of god") is a multi-lingual inscription located on Mount Behistun in the Kermanshah Province of Iran, near the city of Kermanshah in western Iran.
