The Draughtsman of the Borghese Vase[1] (c. 1775) is the title of a drawing by Hubert Robert. In this design, Robert has enlarged the Borghese Vase for dramatic effect and set it, in atmospherically ruinous condition, on the Aventine overlooking the Colosseum, a position it never occupied.
