Catherine Trillet (or Treillet) was a maidservant to the Marquis de Sade. She has been hired in October 1776, along with several young servant girls, all of whom leave except for Catherine. Her father, mister Trillet comes to retrieve his daughter on January 17, 1777. She refuses, and M. Trillet shoots point-blank at Sade, but his gun misfires.
