Nicolas Chorier (September 1 1612 à Vienne (Isère) - August 14 1692) was a French lawyer, historian and man of letters. He is known for his historical work on the French region Dauphiné and more importantly, for his apocryphal sapphic dialogue L'Academie des dames, ou les Sept entretiens galants d'Alosia. He resided in Grenoble where he worked for the king.
