Since 1959, the Cuban Revolution has also greatly affected Cuban culture, down to the most basic levels of daily life. Much of Cuban culture, especially Cuban music, is instantly recognizable throughout the world.
Cuba in film
Before Night Falls is a 2000 movie directed by Julian Schnabel. The film, based on the autobiography of Reinaldo Arenas, ends where Scarface starts.
