Devendra Prasad Varma (17 October 1923 - 24 October 1994) was an English scholar born Darbhanga, Bihar, India. He was Professor of English and Gothic Romance Literature, Dalhousie University 1969-91, Honorary Adjunct Professor 1991-94; married (one son). He died Oceanside, New York.
