Edward Sheriff Curtis (1868 – 1952) was an American photographer who specialized in the American West and Native American peoples.

He is known for such photos as Canyon de Chelly National Monument and the 20-volume book The North American Indian. 20 volumes (1907–1930).

He also directed the film In the Land of the Head Hunters (1914).
