"El Cumbanchero" (1943) is a musical composition by Rafael Hernández Marín, the song is a classic in Latin American music.

It is the basis of "Rockfort Rock".

The song was copyrighted in 1943 and was first recorded in 1946 as a Mexican 78 disc (Peerless Records) by Margo Llergo & Orquesta Antonio Escobar.[1]

Celia Cruz covered the song 1948.
