Eucera is genus of bees in the family Apidae subfamily Apinae.


Description

Antennae of males are very long. Eucera species nest in the ground. These bees are important pollinators of alfalfa.

Distribution

Species belonging to genus Eucera are present in most of Europe, in the East Palearctic ecozone and in the Near East.

This genus has 78 species in Europe.
