The Lines was an English post-punk band active between 1977 and 1983, releasing two albums -- Therapy (October 1981) and Ultramarine (March 1983) -- and a handful of singles and EPs. Despite connections to Alternative TV, Prag Vec, and Fad Gadget they did not achieve mainstream success. Vocalist and guitarist was Rico Conning, he later engineered and mixed for the likes of Swans and Depeche Mode and worked closely with William Orbit.
