Freddy Krueger is a fictional supernatural serial killer from the A Nightmare on Elm Street series of films. He is the only character to have appeared in every film in the series.

Created by Wes Craven and portrayed by actor Robert Englund in eight films and a TV series between 1984 and 2003, he is an undead serial killer, who can attack his victims from within their own dreams.
