"Free Soul"[1] by The Soul Brothers.

The song was produced by Coxsone Dodd with Jackie Mittoo on piano and is reminiscent of Twine Time (1964) by Alvin Cash & The Crawlers.

As Arnold Rypens noted, The Soul Brothers were the "Studio One houseband with ex members of The Skatalites.[2]"

The song is also the basis for "Doctor Ring Ding" and was 'covered' (but not credited) by Lou & The Hollywood Bananas as "Kingston Kingston" (1979) and it was the foundation of Lily Allen's "Smile" (2006).
