The Gospel of Matthew is one of the four canonical gospels in the New Testament. This synoptic gospel is an account of the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth. It details his story from his genealogy to his Great Commission.
The Early Christian tradition attributes this Gospel to Matthew, one of Jesus' disciples.
