"Goya and the Duchess of Alba" is the title of a screenplay Luis Buñuel started working on in 1927, with the actor/producer Florián Rey and cameraman José María Beltrán, and then resuscitated in 1937 as a project for Paramount. It remained a text. It features a romantic retelling of how Goya became deaf.
