Grand Inquisitor (Latin: Inquisitor Generalis, lit. Inquisitor General) is the lead official of an Inquisition. The most famous Inquisitor General is probably the Spanish Dominican Tomás de Torquemada, who spearheaded the Spanish Inquisition.
