Harold Beane (1947-2020) was an American musician known for his work with Isaac Hayes and Funkadelic.

He "worked for 15 years with Funkadelic during the recording of America Eats Its Young. He wrote, sang, and guitared ‘Loose Booty’. He also worked with Stax Composer David Porter, Little Richard, Isaac HayesWalk on By’, Eddie FloydKnock on Wood’, Otis Redding, Al Green, Soul singer William Bell."[1]

He shares writing credits on the compositions "Loose Booty" and "America Eats Its Young" on America Eats Its Young.
