Henry Austin Dobson (January 18, 1840September 2, 1921) was an English poet and essayist.

Early in 1876, a small body of English poets, among which Henry Austin Dobson, discovered the French forms of Théodore de Banville, Clement Marot and François Villon, and determined to introduce them into English verse.
