Hisayasu Sato (August 15,1959, Shizuoka, Japan) is a Japanese "pink film" director. He had his directing debut with Mad Sensation (1985). In movies such as The Bedroom (Shisenjiyou no Aria, 1994) or Naked Blood (Naked Blood: Megyaku, 1996) he concentrates on the madness and the perversion of everyday life.

He often concludes his films abruptly with the use of the legend GAME OVER and a surge of white noise, emphasizing the ambiguous nature of the reality of his films.
