The Incredible String Band (or ISB) was a Scottish acoustic band which, (in the words of one of their early songs) "way back in the 1960s" built a popular following within British counterculture, and the members of the group are considered psych folk musical pioneers. The group reformed in 1999 and continued to perform until 2006.
