The Île des peupliers[1] (English: Isle of Poplars) is a small artificial island in the Parc Jean-Jacques Rousseau in Ermenonville.

The island owes its name to the poplars surrounding the cenotaph of Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Since the transfer of the ashes to the Pantheon in Paris, the mausoleum on the island is empty.
