James George Thirlwell (born January 29 1960), aka Clint Ruin, aka Frank Want, aka Foetus, is a vocalist, composer and producer. He emerged during (and is sometimes associated with) the No Wave era, however because of his musical diversity (which at times has included passage in the Electronic music genres) he is perhaps more well known for going beyond categorization, by juxtaposing a variety of different styles.
