Jan-Willem Geerinck (born in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, 1965) holds a Master's in Dutch, English and Spanish translation and is a teacher of Dutch in Antwerp. He is the editor of several websites and debuted as a writer in 2011 with De geschiedenis van de erotiek. He has three daughters.

Jan Willem Geerinck (geboren in Sint Niklaas in 1965) heeft een master in de vertaalwetenschappen en is leraar Nederlands in Antwerpen. Sinds 1996 verdiept hij zich in cultuurgeschiedenis. In 2011 debuteerde hij met De geschiedenis van de erotiek. Hij heeft drie dochters.
