Dame Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, UN Messenger of Peace, (born April 3, 1934) is an English primatologist, ethologist, and anthropologist. She is best-known for her study of chimpanzee social and family life in Gombe Stream National Park for 45 years.

Some of her work is documented by Bert Haanstra.
