Jeff Beck (1944 - 2023) was an English guitarist who rose to prominence as a member of the rock band the Yardbirds and afterwards founded and fronted several ensembles.

He is known for recordings such as "Shapes of Things" (1966) and "Beck's Bolero" (1966).

He can be seen in the Yardbirds concert scene in Blowup (1966).

In 1975, he switched to an instrumental style of music with focus on an innovative sound, and his releases spanned genres and styles ranging from blues rock, hard rock, jazz fusion and a blend of guitar-rock and electronica.
