Haine de la poésie in Georges Bataille's work refers primarily to the text published in 1947, and republished in 1962 with its definitive title, L'impossible (The Impossible).

L'Impossible est un livre de Georges Bataille paru en 1962 aux éditions de Minuit. Il s'agit de la seconde édition d'un texte paru en 1947 sous le titre Haine de la poésie. L'auteur justifie ainsi ce changement de titre dans sa préface à la seconde édition : Template:Citation bloc
Ce livre de 188 pages contient en réalité trois textes :
- Histoire de rats : transcription du journal intime d'un homme dont nous ne savons rien, sinon que sa passion pour une jeune femme, B., le consume lentement.
- Dianus.
- L'Orestie : recueil poétique.
