"La Mutilation sacrificielle et l'oreille coupée de Vincent Van Gogh" (1930) is a text by Georges Bataille. It was published in the final issue of Documents. It featured several paintings by van Gogh: Les tournesols (1888), La maison (1889), La chaise du peintre (1888) and Le fauteuil de Gauguin (1888).
