Le marquis érotomane (1960) is a collage by Roman Cieślewicz [1][2]. It is in a private collection and was first published in Obliques n° 12-13.

The image is used on the cover of the Dutch translation of The Marquis De Sade: A New Biography (1992) published by Bert Bakker. The design represents a fancy portrait of Marquis de Sade whose face is made of body parts.

The image is based on an engraving[3] of Pierre Beaumarchais found in Grands hommes et grands faits de la Révolution française (1789-1804) by Jean Baptiste Marius Augustin Challamel.
