Leslie Anne Boldt is an American academic and translator. She has published primarily in the field of 20th-century French literature. She has edited a critical anthology on the work of French critic Georges Bataille and has translated into English Bataille's Inner Experience. Dr. Boldt-Irons has also written on critical theory, including the cultural theory of Barthes and Baudrillard and has delivered conference papers on such filmmakers as Hitchcock, Polanski, and Altman.
