Looking Awry: An Introduction to Jacques Lacan through Popular Culture (1991) is a book by Slavoj Žižek.

It is a reading of the psychoanalytic theory of Jacques Lacan through the works of contemporary popular culture, from horror fiction (Stephen King's novel "Pet Sematary"; Robert Sheckley's short story "The Store of the Worlds") and detective thrillers to popular romances and Hitchcock films.
