Lulu is a character created by German playwright Frank Wedekind, who appears in the plays Erdgeist (1895) and Die Büchse der Pandora (1903), two parts of originally-intended larger Lulu work. Walerian Borowczyk's 1980 film Lulu was an onscreen adaptation of the play by Frank Wedekind.
