Marc Grouls is a Belgian musician, DJ and producer, instrumental in the development of New Beat. Legend has it that New Beat was invented when Marc Grouls played the 45rpm single record "Flesh" by A Split-Second at 33rpm with the pitch control set to +8.

With Marcos Salon, Marc Grouls set up In-D, a collaboration which would lead to three 12-inches on Subway Records: "Virgin In-D Sky's", "Bastion In-D Stress" and "Beat In-D Dream".

"The Prestige is een tot discotheek omgebouwde zaal boven bioscoop Ambassade in de Van Ertbornstraat met plaats voor ongeveer duizend bezoekers."
