Armin Meiwes (born December 1, 1961) is a German cannibal who achieved international notoriety for eating and killing a voluntary victim he had found via the Internet. After attempting to eat the (then alive) victim's penis, Meiwes killed his victim, and continued to eat a large amount of his flesh.
The story was adapted to film as Cannibal by Marian Dora in 2005.
