The Naples National Archaeological Museum[1] Mosaic Collection includes a number of important mosaics recovered from the ruins of Pompeii and the other Vesuvian cities.

Notable mosaics include the Skull Mosaic from Pompeii and two Roman comedy masks [2], [3] from the House of the Faun. The first mask is a detail from the mosaic of Eros-Bacchus on the tiger.
