Réparation à NietzscheOCR scan (January 1937, English: Reparations to Nietzsche) is the second issue of Acéphale, a special issue of dedicated to Friedrich Nietzsche.

In it, Georges Bataille was one of the first to denounce the deliberate misinterpretation of Friedrich Nietzsche carried out by Nazis, among them Alfred Baeumler.

In articles such as "Reparations to Nietzsche" and "Nietzsche and the Fascists," Bataille argued against the instrumentalization of Nietzsche by the left or the right, declaring that Nietzsche's aim was to by-pass the short timespan of modern politics, and its inherent lies and simplifications, for a greater historical timespan.
