De spectris, lemuribus et magnis atque insolitis fragoribus or Das Gespensterbuch or Of Ghosts and Spirits Walking By Night is a book by the Swiss Reformed pastor Ludwig Lavater.

It was written with Heinrich Bullinger's close collaboration and is considered a standard English source-book for ghost lore and demonology. It is believed that Shakespeare read this edition and used it for Hamlet.
