Background
Matta-Clark was invited by Florent Bex to exhibit in the I.C.C..
He was given the opportunity to work on empty premises on the Ernest Van Dijckkaai 1, near Het Steen. In honour of the four hundredth birthday of the Antwerp Baroque painter Rubens, the artist called this work Office Baroque.
