In 1781 Jacques-Louis David sent the French Royal Academy four paintings, Equestrian portrait of Stanisław Kostka Potocki[1], Saint Roch Interceding with the Virgin for the Plague-Stricken[2], Saint Jerome[3] and Belisarius Begging for Alms[4].
